In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Mr. Carpenter has taken roles in the extra-curriculuar atmosphere of the Clintondale community. From 2002 to 2005, he was an assistant coach with the Dragon football program, serving on the Freshman sidelines before moving to Varsity under the Friday night lights. He was co-sponsor of the Clintondale High School classes of 2006 and 2012. Mr. Carpenter is in his thirteenth year as Quiz Bowl advisor for Clintondale High School and eleventh year as CHS Social Studies Department Chair.
